We thought it best to provide you with a new update as this week has seen a few major changes to the planned schedule. Unfortunately, earlier this week we received news that our power upgrade has been delayed a further 3 weeks.
With so much of our remaining work based around the upgrade taking place we have had to push the dates back significantly, however this isn’t all bad news because after sitting down and going over the new timeframe it became apparent that the new move dates were very close to arrival of our third machine. It was decided that after the power upgrade was complete we would completely set-up the new BySprint machine at the new factory before moving the second machine over to our new office.
Although this has meant some additional costs and delays to the overall move the priority has always been to reduce the impact this move may have on our customers. Keeping two machines cutting from this point on will mean we will not have any significant loss of production looking forward.
For those interested, I will outline a few key dates that have shifted with the new move plan. The power upgrade is now booked to happen on the 18th September 2016 and should be delivered to the new factory on the 17 October 2016. It will take approximately 3 weeks to set-up and once complete the ByStar will be decommissioned and being preparation for the move over.
We will be shifting our office and setting up our server and telephone lines over the weekend of 15 October 2016 and will be operating out of the new factory as of Monday 17 October 2016.
A further update will be sent out prior to the move to the new factory, however from that date onward all jobs and deliveries will be at the new address of 4 Macquarie Drive, Thomastown.
As always, we appreciate your patience and support during this difficult moving process.
